Grapefruit “Mom-garita” Mocktail | Cinco de Mayo

It’s Margarita Time! Grab some mama friends and enjoy a fun, refreshing mocktail that also is good for you during your pregnancy.
We’ve got a sweet + sour recipe perfect for your fun 5th day of May and the rest of your warm summer afternoons this year. ☀️ Enjoy!


Grapefruit Benefits: It’s jam-packed with minerals and vitamis. Including, vitamin B complex, folic acid, potassium and calcium that are essential for the proper development of the fetus.

Sparkling Water: Carbonation helps to ease nausea, as well as keeping you hydrated.


  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice

  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice

  • 1 cup of grapefruit juice

  • 1 1/2 cup sparking water

  • 3 cups ice cubes

  • 1 lime or lemon

  • salt or sugar rim as needed


  1. Dip a chilled glass into salt or sugar to coat the rim. (Skip this step if you don’t want covered rim)

  2. Add a couple cubes of ice to glass, then add the rest of ice to a jug.

  3. Add orange juice, lime juice, grapefruit juice and sparking water into jug.

  4. Cut 2-3 thin slices of your lime or lemon and add to jug, then stir!

  5. Pour mom-garita mix into salted (or unsalted) glass. Garnish with another thin slice of lime or lemon. Serve immediately!
